It has taken a good deal longer to get this off the ground than originally anticipated due to the amount of material being offered.

A special thanks to Christopher and Pam Pascoe without who’s help and hospitality we would not have had such a magnificent start to the project. Christopher’s father, Alfie, maintained meticulous records throughout his long like. He and many others were substantially involved in many aspects of village life over the years.

We now hope to create a small team to manage the museum’s progression enabling it to become a perpetual living record.

Interested people will now be able to add their own history or request us do it for them.

You will see we have where possible created interactive library books. We ask you to respect the material contained has been donated and remains the property of the donator. The contents are for personal use only

Individuals will be able to log onto the site and add their history and images whilst keeping the original records for themselves.

You will find when you visit the museum you will be able to create your own log in details with a one off payment of £1. We have done this to stop others from abusing the site ensuring only those interested will become a member.

Rest assured, the museum belongs to the people and will remain a non profit making organisation
